It is not surprising that KSU is denying everything that has been said about it in our last press release as it reveals their darker side. We have finally broke SDM's bubble as it now seems very clear to the public that KSU is not about student rights, education and progress, but its about schemes, party politics and theology - mixed with a large dose of lies and fancy-posing.
Anyone who doubts the fact whether Joe Camilleri, Precincts Officer of UOM really admitted to the court that KSU officials had complained to him about Issue 8 of Ir-Realta', and then forwarded the complaint to the Rector, should ask the Court of Mgr Audrey Demicoli which is currently responsible for the case. It is quite a pity that the precinct has contradicted his statement which he made under oath, as this will only work in our favor. It seems that has a lot to answer for now, especially because of the fact that his statement in court has been recorded.
But the funniest lie of them all was Carl Grech's at the KPS meeting, held yesterday. Carl Grech told KPS representatives that he proposed to Mark Camilleri, Editor of Ir-Realta', to become a mediator between him and the Rector of University and Mark Camilleri refused the offer. It is quite sad to have the President of KSU resorting to lies in order to hide the grim reality of his own council. In fact such a proposal was never made to us by anybody and the Rector himself has testified in court that he refused Mark Camilleri's official invitations for a meeting because Ir-Realta' is not a recognised organisation by the University of Malta.
By the way, for those who think that we owe an apology to the University Chaplain, we will not do so. The Chaplain has already admitted to the Times of Malta that he has submitted a complaint to the Rector and we don't care which arrived first, either that of KSU's or that of the Chaplain's - they were and still are interested to shove us out.
