We have today filed a judicial protest against the Rector, Juanito Camilleri, for destroying Ir-Realta' Issue 8 which was deposited at the University Student House and other places in the University. We are also demanding payments for the damages that have been done to our newspapers.
By Law the Rector did not have the authority to destroy our newspapers and even if the newspapers were illegal, they should have been removed only by the police and not by an order from the Rector.
We hope the case will start as soon as possible! |
